the rhythmic dimension of a piece of music - or: a flow of music - is to be understood and learned before the diastematic dimension, at least in most cases, provided we follow the natural order of the parameters: our hearts start to beat long before our first cry reaches the world.

those who prefer to focus on pitch first are close to separating the head from the body, humanity from nature.

civilisation means setting things out of balance

if we regard carefully the mystery of metabolism, the electric-energetic dance of elements and moleculs, we become aware of the fact, that our global problems consist of lost balance. "mystery" does not mean a matter of fact that we are not able not understand - but one for whose magical beauty we can be receptive.

nothing on earth is without value, every substance is important for the cycles of life. carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, have to be in best balance with oxygen, hydrogen, building the right amounts of those compounds, which are important for life, but in in too high concentration become dangerous. everything has to be in good balance.

radioactivity marks the open edge of matter. only the sun, holy centre of our solar system, is meant to deal with nuclear fusion with sending energy - neutrons and protons - through the universe. trouble starts when human start to deal with things which are intended for higher beings. we used to call them gods, now we name them with the astronomic actors - sun, planets, earth, moon. "mother earth" is such a strong term, because it unifys both assumptions.

now we shift our attention towards mankind. if we are to save the world we have to care for finding back into balance. outer balance and inner balance as well - the balance between these balances.

if we run through the streets and shout "oh my god, what can we do, how can we save the planet, we will lose our living space, we must, we must not - Help!" then we are as much out of balance way as the frenzy players of global politics and capitalism though with opposite sign.

the inner balance makes us suceptible for the balance of out earth and thus raises our sense of responsible as if by itself.

those who are out of balance expect their world to be out of balance too.

this is the reason for the improbability that things will change under this system. the frenzy ones will always say: it is good this way, there is no reason for change. and they will neglect the imbalance of the earths thermic environment, her and her oceans and forests metabolism and everything. they will say - everything is fine because it is as much out of balance as they are inside themselves.

science might be the main authority of our time. we see that it actually has authority, because most followers of science are saying „I believe more in science than in other concepts of reality“ which means nevertheless, they believe - which is rather not a scientific term. anyway, since science took over and became leading instance in the western world, it has to become aware of her responsibility - to evoke adoration, fascination, devotion against the incredible beauty in the symmetry and mechanic of the world.

they have to care for a good balance between ratio and passion - because only passion has capacity of feeding the inner move which becomes motivation when it strikes reality.

who taught us to forget that taste?

when we began to remember the taste of our inborn love for mother earth we became aware of the strong effort we have to supply trying to unfold the warm intimate relationship to her.

the alienation was settled much deeper in our souls than we expected, because its initial point was not just some hundred years ago with the industrialization of the earth and rape we did to our mother.

we saw that the christian church had already started this devellish project thousand years ago - disconnecting mankind from nature by telling our ancestors they needed but a father. and a brother who became immediately master and king, though.

no mother needed, no mother wanted. surely a christian thing. essential of „europe’s christian tradition“. could it be a general problem of monotheistism? could it be even an essential of atheism?! since this is mainly passionate negation of god, which of this very reason is profoundly connected to this concept?

anyway, we have to dig deeply in our souls gardens to recover these blissfully glowing roots. might be that many fail, become impatient, throwing their shovel into the sand, returning to that frenzy concept of a technical world of steel and plastic reigned by an abstract god.

we saw that going on digging deeply, clay under our fingernails, with physical touch to the humid fertility of the ground below our feet - in german called "mutterboden" - immensely empowered us for changing our life concept. our concept of work, movement, transportation, nutrition, health, joy, fun, celebration of life.

we saw that this had barely to do with church religion or atheism. we saw rigid fighters against clima change trying to find ways to forbid their brothers and sisters certain behaviour - as if it were sin - instead of showing them the taste of mother earth love:

loving mother earth and being loved by her. embracing her and being embraced. adoring her and being fed. protecting her holy beauty and being carried. thanking her for being born out of her womb - and learning to live a good life and to die a good death.
