„In a culture of relativism and the ephemeral, many preach the importance of “enjoying” the moment. They say that it is not worth making a life-long commitment, making a definitive decision, “for ever”, because we do not know what tomorrow will bring. I ask you, instead, to be revolutionaries, I ask you to swim against the tide; yes, I am asking you to rebel against this culture that sees everything as temporary and that ultimately believes you are incapable of responsibility, that believes you are incapable of true love…"
while Pope Francesco I. is talking about marriage these words seem to be rooted in an inversion of valuation concerning the relation between a petrified tradition and an ephemer sketch - in his vision the dynamic act we are free to choose is releasing the sketch and going for a decision. christly revolution... it reminds me of a remark by czech author Milan Kundera, probably from his novel immortality: we live our life as if it were a sketch for living - afterwards we become aware of the fact that it was already the life. could this statement be valid for more than just the love between two children of heaven and earth? for our position in our society? in our nation? for politics? for our connection to mother earth?
do you feel a healing radiance in this point of view?

and... responsibility (german: verantwortung) - could it mean giving response, answering to the call we receive from the universe? the world? God?
